KPEVI (two stones)

As the warp is always tied to a stone, two stones means "two warps". The second warp is free of any heddle. AThe weft in the shuttle may pass over or under this second warp.

In this section are found cloths woven not only by KPEVI, but also with KOGAVI effects.

KOGAVI
Lifting VUFUBLAME inside the weft allows different weft effects. One single weft gives a KOGAVI (small chain).

ADANU
Many AFEVO are brocaded with abstract, figurative and symbolic designs.

ADANU technique

AFEVO is a collection of samples donated by weavers. Such pieces rarely show weft effects as pattern and brocade, that are indeed the most famous features of the Ewe weaving art. This field is detected by the project: Klikor Icon
